The Lead Systems Architect contributes to growth and customer success through participation in application delivery teams as a lead application designer, developer, and thought leader. This role provides thought leadership to fellow team members, leads development team activities, provides high-level technical architecture, and drives design and build of business applications and supporting functions based upon identified business requirements and use cases.
The Lead Systems Architect will work in a dynamic team environment where he/she will mentor junior team members and educate clients’ team members on Pega concepts and technology. The Lead Systems Architect also serves as an escalation point for application issues reported by internal and external teams providing troubleshooting and support.
The Lead System Architect is required to communicate and share knowledge about the target industry applications with peers, customers, customers’ other vendors, and the Pega community at large through the prescribed communication/collaboration tools. The individual in this role also needs to have advanced knowledge of the Pega architecture and all Pega design and implementation features.
- Primary worksite is Wilmington, Delaware, but relocation is possible.
- Requires Masters degree in Computer Science & Engineering
- Requires 12 months experience as Programmer/Analyst or Software Engineer/Developer or IT consultant.
- Related experience must include using Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC).
